As a continuation of “The Geek Rainbow” article, here are two interesting movies currently out focusing on characters with Aspergers (an autism spectrum disorder). One is a winner from the Sundance film festival called “Adam”, and the other is a beautiful, Australian produced animation called “Mary and Max”.

I saw Mary and Max a few weeks ago. It was a deeply affecting movie that explores the drama of disconnection and longing with wit and poignancy. Haven’t seen Adam yet as it hasn’t been released in Australia.
